Get ready for your Miracle!

Stop all that worrying! God has already worked it out.

Get ready for your Miracle!

All of us have modern-day conveniences, easier modes of communication and transportation and many other things.

What we enjoy today makes so many things possible that our ancestors would consider unthinkable.

Through all the changes in history, and all of the advancements we have made, some things remain the same. A few of those being a devil who wants to destroy us, the habits and emotions of mankind, problems for the day, and a God who wants to help us.

Part of the human existence involves a variety of situations and dilemmas that are out of our control. There is something about the uncertainty in such cases that cause panic and worry. It is during those times that we need to remind ourselves of a little word called “faith,” and react to our issues accordingly.

The use of the internet and current events pour into our homes, hearts and minds on a daily basis. It is no wonder why we worry like we do. The media often dwells on the worst of world events, but with the intentions of causing panic to intensify different situations.

Friends, this is where we need to take a stand in our walks with God. There are a few things we can do to minimize anxiety and worry.

Let’s start by implementing Philippians 4:6-9 into our lives: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

We must make a conscious effort to think on things that calm and soothe our minds. Not only will those things bring us comfort, they’ll remind us of the Savior who moves for us.

Let us further remember that the enemy of our souls wants to discourage and distract us.

Consider 1 Peter 5:8-10, which says, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”

Don’t worry, friends, things are not out of God’s control! As much as we want to overlook the fact that trials are a part of life, we can’t and shouldn’t. It’s when we continue to stand firm in our faith and trust God to bring us out that we’ll experience His delivering power! His plans for us have not been thwarted, and He holds our answers and miracles until the time is right!

Keep holding on, friends! God will show Himself strong!
